My newest cover for a My Own Comic Book is especially cool. It’s a celebration of those among us who we consider “everyday heroes”. The cover highlights a Police Officer, A Doctor and a Fire Fighter, but those are just a few who might fit into this category.
With the interior, someone can share their story of the heroic deeds of these individuals. Imagine a child who was hurt in a car crash or lost their home to a fire. What better way to help make it through those tough times than documenting it in their own way. Creating a keepsake of the events and people that helped.
Maybe someone has an upcoming stay in the hospital. They could use our product to list the doctors and nurses attending to them. Use it like a yearbook and have the everyday heroes involved write in it and sign.
Just like our other versions, this contains 21 pages with 75 blank panels ready for whatever the creator wants to fill it with. So have fun and make it great.
It’s great to see our product in a local shop and available for sale. We hope to sell a bunch and help by donating proceeds to the museum. We’re also hoping to create a special edition for the museum soon with local historical photos and facts.
My own comic book is actually your own comic book! You see, the idea was to create random covers and them complete the inside of the book with blank panels. Why blank panels? Because they need your input!
I have started with a few popular subjects like zombies, dinosaurs and of course, superheroes. I’m adding them to Amazon each priced to sell for $4.99. They include 26 total pages, 21 of which contain 75 empty panels that need to be filled with a story.
There are many more to come. I am even looking at introducing the availability of creating and purchasing custom covers designed by you. Right now the idea is still in it’s infancy, but I’m going to be working hard to keep it growing.
Drop me a message if you have an idea you would like to tell me about or leave it here. I am always willing to listen.
